Cookies & browser storage

Effective 2026-07-07

CIOport uses essential cookies only — the minimum needed for sign-in and security. There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking. Because everything below is strictly necessary for the service to function, no consent banner is required; if that ever changes (for example, if analytics were added), we would ask for consent first.

Cookies

CookieSet byPurpose
cioport_rt Our sign-in service (gate.cioport.app) Keeps you signed in between visits (up to 30 days; renewed as you use the app). HttpOnly — scripts can't read it. Set only when you sign in; signing out removes it.
cioport_oauth Our sign-in service (gate.cioport.app) Protects the sign-in handshake itself against forgery (a few minutes; removed when sign-in completes or expires). Set only while signing in.
Cloudflare (hosting) Security and bot-protection cookies the hosting platform may set to keep the site available.

Local storage (not cookies — never transmitted)

The app keeps your working data in your browser's local storage. Unlike cookies, this data is not sent with requests — it stays on your device:

KeyWhat it holds
cioport.holdings.manualYour holdings and watchlist
cioport.userRulesYour watch rules
cioport.mdkey.*Market-data vendor keys you've connected

Managing them

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all cookies and local storage. Signing out removes the session cookie. Note that clearing local storage deletes your holdings, rules and keys — we hold no copy, so export a backup first if you want one.
